Ingredients:

  • 4 drops of chamomile essential oil
  • 4 drops of helichrysum essential oil
  • 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil

  • 1 fl. oz. of St. John’s Wort oil or carrier oil of you choice

Blend any of the above oils and mix them 50:50 with carrier oils of your choice. Massage 1 tsp of the blend into the beard, thoroughly for 2-3 minutes. Leave it on the beard for an hour. (I like to apply the blend before hitting the gym!). After exercising, mix any of the essential oil with your favorite beard shampoo to wash the beard.

Beard Oil Recipe To Fight Ringworm

Many essential oils are proven to curb fungal activity that leads to dandruff, flaking and itchiness and Tea tree oil is one of them.

Ingredients:

  • 10 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 4-5 drops of tea tree essential oil

Mix the above oils and dilute them with Jojoba or sweet almond oil. Apply to the beard. Leave it on for an hour before washing clean with an anti-fungal beard shampoo.

Overnight Conditioning Beard Oil Blend

Ingredients:

  • 5 drops of carrot essential oil
  • 5 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
  • 5 drops of thyme essential oil
  • 3 drops of sage essential oil
  • 1 fl. oz. of spring water or mineral water
  • ½ fl. oz. of apple cider vinegar

In a dark colored glass bottle, add the Apple cider vinegar and mineral water. Add the oils using a bottle and shake well. Place the bottle near your bed. Every night at bed time, take a tablespoon of the beard oil recipe and massage it well into the beard. Leave it in the beard overnight. Wash off the next day.
